Bios
Rick
Berlin
Founder and CEO
As a member of the executive management team, Rick directs all aspects
of new media design. He founded Berlin Productions in 1982 to provide design,
illustration and multimedia to Fortune 500 clients. Rick's talent in the
interactive field was the catalyst for the inauguration of RedEye InteractiveTM,
an online database for multimedia artists, programmers and developers. Under
Rick's leadership, Berlin Productions has become a two-time winner of New
Media magazine's Invision Awards and has won Top Producer awards from
AV Video Multimedia Producer magazine for several years in a row.
Prior to entering the new media arena, Rick was a commercial illustrator.
He holds a BA from the State University of New York at Oswego.
Dylan Wood
Vice president and creative director
Responsible for the day to day operation of Berlin Productions, including
creative development, technical development strategies, project implementation
and management. Dylan brings a unique combination of design theory, fine
art experience, and technical expertise to a wide variety of New Media applications.
With a BFA in computer animation and 3D design from William Paterson University,
Dylan teaches creative Web Design and management at SUNY during his spare
time. He has worked closely with a wide variety of Berlin Productions clients
such as Prodigy Internet, Priceline.com, Columbia University, SONY, Reuters
News Services and Reuters Online. Dylan has won awards for his work including
Best Animated Short at the Anti-Film Festival as well as gold awards for
the Berlin Demo Reel at the WAC awards.
Rose
Mary Berlin
Illustrator, Designer
Rose
is featured with the company as a childrens book illustrator and
designer. She is widely published and respected for her work, which regularly
appears with Golden Books, Sesame Street Magazine, Fisher Price,
School Zone, Grolier, Scholastic, Simon and Schuster, Harcourt Brace and
others. Roses illustrations possess a timeless quality and appeal
establishing her as a leading childrens book illustrator. A graduate
of the School of Visual Arts, she has most recently received, an award for
her rendition of "Murray on the Watch" which was featured in two
recent showings in Westchester County.

Steven
Klapow
Director of marketing /
Creative director
Steven Klapow oversees all copy-related content development, handles Berlin
Productions' marketing and public relations activities, and is also responsible
for project management. Before coming to BP, Steven was the executive editor
of AV Video Multimedia Producer, a
magazine where he spent 10 years writing about business communication technology
and practices. Steven also served as features editor at the IT
newspaper CommunicationsWeek and senior technical editor and marketing
associate for Eder Associates, a nationwide engineering firm. With a BA
in broadcast journalism, Steven has also worked as a radio host and producer
for two New York FM stations. Steven is also a contributing editor for Studio
magazine and the newspaper White Plains Times.
Joseph
Faraci
Media production specialist
With a background creating
interactive presentations for legal educators and developing web sites to
promote independent filmmakers, Joe Faraci joined Berlin Productions in
2005. Joe wears many hats at BP: He is responsible for coordinating production
on multiple projects, but he also handles web development, graphic design,
programming and animation. Joe majored in visual arts and computer science
at Westchester Community College.
Rick Dorgan
Interactive designer/developer
Rick joined our full-time staff in 2007 as an interactive designer and developer. His responsibilities at Berlin Productions include creative and interactive development for web and video projects, as well as print design and execution. An avid winter sports enthusiast, Rick is an experienced snowboard instructor. His involvement with Berlin Productions began with a college internship in 2002. Rick holds a BFA in graphic design from Plymouth State College.
Dania
Y. Murillo
Technical manager, IT
After a successful Berlin
Productions internship, during which she worked closely with our Web development
and design team, Dania Murillo joined the staff in 2003. Her responsibilities
include server maintenance, Web-site authoring and design. Dania holds a
BS in computer science from Mercy College and a masters degree in
e-commerce technology from Pace University. In addition to having a diverse
professional background --ranging from pharmacy automation to accounting
to retail management -- Dania is also fluent in Spanish.
